Unit 1  There is one birthday in May.
一、 教学内容:
1、         Words: count , January , February, March , April , May , June, parties
2、         Sentences: There are…(number).
 There is …(number)
二、  教学目标:
  1、知识目标:
  1)、基本能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇: count , January , February, March , April , May , June, parties.
  2)、基本能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型: How many birthdays are there in…? There are…(number) There is …(number)
  2、情感目标:培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
  3、能力目标:培养学生运用There is或是There are来谈论与月份有关的情况。
  二、教学重点:
  1)学习句型 How many birthdays are there in…?
               There is /are… birthdays in …
  2)掌握单词及词组:count , January , February, March , April , May ,June ,parties
  三、教学难点:能够掌握运用一至六月份英语名称。
  四、教学过程:
  1、Greetings: T—Ss 师生热情打招呼,增进师生间感情。
  2、Warming up
  Sing song “I’m listening to music…”
  3、课件出示图片,用“What is he /she doing?He’s/She’s…”进行对话。
  4、课件展示数量不一的物品用句型How many?做练习。
  通过对话,加强说的练习,同时复习了How many? 及数字,为学习新课做铺垫。
  5、Presentation
  1)、Teach new words
  Tt:“Whose(谁的) birthday is in 一月?”师让一月生日的同学起立,并一起数个数,写在黑板上。板书:January There are three.
  教读January 并问:How many birthdays are there in January?
  答:There are three.
  2)、用同样的方法教February, March , April , May ,June这几个月份词。
  3)、操练六个月份词。
  A、单词接力赛。把六个月份的单词卡片排成圆形,按顺时针方向说单词。先小组,再个人参加比赛。
  B、看嘴型猜单词和句子。
  C、听是描述猜月份。
  4)、逐副讲解课文意思。
  5)、教新单词count、party
  T:What’s lingling doing, now?引出count、party,教count、party。
  6)、Listen to the tape and repeat.
  7) 、Get the Ss to answer the quetions:
  a)What is Lingling doing?
  b)How many birthdays are there?
  8)、Have the Ss read the story together.
  五、Homework
  1) 、Listen and read the story 3 times.
  2) 、Write new words.

Unit 2 There are twelve months in the year.
一、教学目标:

二、教学重点
词汇July ,August ,September ,October ,November,December.
“There are…birthdays in …”以及“There is one birthday in …”的语言结构。
三、教学难点:月份的读音。
四、教学步骤
1、热身
T: Let’s do some actions.
Flowers, flowers. There are flowers. Mmm, mmm.
Festival, festival. There are festivals. Haha, haha.
Birds, birds. There are birds. Jiji zhazha.
Snow, snow. There is snow. Gezhi, gezhi.
Rain, rain. There is rain. Dida,dida.
(Clap ,clap ,clap clap clap)
Warm, warm. It’s warm.
Hot, hot. It’s hot.
Cool, cool. It’s cool.
Sunny, sunny. It’s sunny.
Cold, cold. It’s cold.
2、导入
TToday is very cold. What about do some exercise?
Ss: Yes .
T: (取出事先准备好的皮球)Let’s throw the ball and say the words from January to June .(学生传球并说单词,从而复习一至六月英语单词)
T: This time throw the ball and say the words from January to December.(学生边传球边说单词,从而引出七至十二月单词。)
教师在游戏的过程中教授新单词。
T: These twelve months are beautiful. The weather in the months are also beautiful. Please listen.(教师事先准备简短的英语天气预报录音给学生做出示范,如In Beijing. It’s cold and there is snow.)
学生两人小组准备天气预报。
学生播报天气预报,教师予以鼓励。
T: oh! Today is sunny and today is my birthday .Who is on birthday ,too?(请过生日的同学举手。老师数出过生日的人数,教师用there be的句型介绍过生日的人数。)
T: Oh ! There are four birthdays in December .I heard Ms Smart are counting birthdays now. Please listen.
3、操练与指导
1)教师播放二单元活动一,要求学生听录音并重复。
2)游戏:击鼓传——花学生听音乐传花,音乐停止时拿到花的同学说出自己的家人的生日所在的月份。如There are two birthdays in August.There is one birthday in January.
3)T: I know the secret of your family. Do you want to know my secret?
Ss:Yes.
4)教师播放二单元活动四的录音,学生跟读。
5)T: You know which months I like. please tell us which months you like.
4、复习总结
请学生总结本模块所学知识。
